Learning How to Play American Mah Jongg In-Person
CLICK HERE TO REGISTER AND PAY ONLINE.
STUDENTS MUST ATTEND ALL FOUR SESSIONS.
American Mah Jongg is an exciting game with Chinese origins that uses tiles with symbols, numbers and pictures. Instructor Linda Rosenson will teach basic fundamental components over the course of the four weeks such as tile identification and distribution, how to interpret the NMJL card, etiquette, rules, strategy and provide playing time in a supportive learning environment. The lessons are taught in a specific sequence, so it is crucial not to miss any of the classes. Ideal for beginners or "rusty" players; this is a great game to learn with friends! Mah Jongg is typically played with four people. Linda has been a Mah Jongg player for years and has successfully taught many players.
The classes take place on January 22, 29, February 12 & 19 from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
A one-time only fee of $15 includes all four classes and a copy of the 2024 National Mah Jongg League Card (which will be used until March/April 2025).
